I have spent the last few weeks trying to get some of the peripheral social media stuff working for Wedding stories. One of the first I have completed is a YouTube channel. For their own reasons (world domination etc.), Google have integrated YouTube channels with Google+ pages. This has made things confusing. However, I did post a wedding documentary slideshow on YouTube. The slideshows do give an idea of how documentary wedding coverage works throughout a full wedding day.
A wedding documentary slideshow
This particular slideshow features images from Fiona and Graham’s wedding last September. It starts with Fiona’s preparations and then moves on to the wedding ceremony in Glasnevin. Weddings are very much family events. I particularly like this image which documents a quiet family moment after the ceremony.
I did take a little time with Fiona and Graham at the reception venue for some portraits and continued the coverage well into the evening (until the dancing was underway). There is also a nice image of Fiona, Graham and their little lady at the end of the first dance.
You can see the documentary slideshow here:
I have all this stuff running with davidgilmartinphotography.com. I guess it’s going to take another couple of weeks to have all the social media bits and pieces in place.
